From understanding the Supervisor brief in the stages of Idea and conceptualization to translating and executing the ideas into a deadline driven production plan to pro actively following up and getting things delivered right on time, I was involved in various stages of the VFX production from pre to post.
And if you're wondering if I ever found my purpose, and if so, what was it? See, I realised that life purpose is something you feel when you immerse yourself completely in the creative process of the task at hand, rather than a singular object that you chase and find.
Oversee the camera tracking pipeline development.
Assign roles to the camera track team and keep an eye on production deadlines.
Finishes or oversees the most difficult and complex shots and sequences. Quality control records for vendors who outsource.
Collaborate with Production to determine the staffing and scheduling needs of the camera tracking team.
Collaborate closely with the Supervisor to establish and maintain the camera tracking department's aesthetic and technical standards.
All camera data, plate sheets, and other technical information is managed and organized at all times.
